The Palfrader route on the Geierwand in the Höllensteintal valley near Toblach is an outstanding choice for climbers who enjoy steep, sustained corner climbing—a true masterpiece of Dolomite climbing. The route is around 250 metres long and follows a direct line through the vertical Geierwand. Its south-eastern aspect makes it particularly versatile, as it can often be climbed early in the season or late in the year.
