Overview
The Dremelspitze is a striking, isolated mountain in the heart of the Lechtal Alps. Its summit can only be reached by easy climbing of up to UIAA grade 2+. The long approach and descent make this a substantial mountain tour. Fit mountaineers can complete it as a day tour starting from Boden. Alternatively, an overnight stay at the Hanauer Hut makes the overall experience considerably easier and more relaxed.

Tour Programme
As a day tour: We travel together to Boden and may continue by mountain bike or e-bike to the cargo cableway of the Hanauer Hut. From there, it takes around one hour to reach the hut. We then continue to the western Dremelscharte, where we put on the rope. From here, easy climbing on solid rock at UIAA grades I and II leads towards the summit, with several short, steeper steps along the way. The key section is an exposed traverse through a gully at upper UIAA grade II. The descent follows the ascent route. As a two-day tour: The itinerary remains the same, but we spend the night at the Hanauer Hut, making the overall tour more relaxed and enjoyable.
